Tracy brings over 30 years of experience in the piping and mechanical industry. He began his career as a helper before learning the pipe welding trade, later moving into production roles as a foreman, CM, and PM. Eventually, he transitioned into quality control and quality assurance.

His first pipe welding job was in 1993 as a combo pipe welder at the San Onofre Nuclear Plant in Southern California. Over time, he worked at other nuclear power facilities, including Davis-Besse, Diablo Canyon, Donald C. Cook, and Arkansas Nuclear One.

After five years of working refueling outages, Tracy shifted to refineries, where he worked on shutdowns and new construction projects until 2012. That year, he founded an LLC focused on consulting for various companies and building quality management programs. He sold the business in 2019, then launched another LLC, which he continues to operate—developing and managing quality management programs to this day.
